Light and Stone AssemblagesThis work was created with hand selected rocks from the beach I grew up on. During the Summer of 2020 I began collecting translucent rocks and other beach debris, holding each one I spotted up to the sun to confirm its translucency. Once the pieces were back at my studio I washed them and wrapped each rock with copper tape before soldering them together into ungulating, improvised forms.
